Manual installation of Adobe Flash Player for Android

If your Android device did not come with Adobe Flash Player for Android installed or if you did not install it before, you will need to manually install Adobe Flash Player from Adobe's website.

To manually install Adobe Flash Player for Android follow the below procedure:

1. You will need to enable manual installation of apps on your device. Open Settings ->Security and enable "Unknown sources" (Allow installation of non-Market apps)

a) If your device is running Android 4.x install the following version from Adobe's website (macromedia.com is owned by Adobe):

http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/installers/archive/android/
11.1.115.17/install_flash_player_ics.apk

or

b) If your device is running Android 2.x or 3.x install the following version from Adobe's website (macromedia.com is owned by Adobe):

http://download.macromedia.com/pub/flashplayer/installers/archive/android/
11.1.111.16/install_flash_player_pre_ics.apk

3. After downloading simply click on downloaded file and follow the installation procedure. Restart your device.

4. If the browser that came installed on your device is not compatible with Adobe Flash Player plugin, install Firefox Browser for Android from Google play. Adobe Flash Player plugin works best on most devices when using Firefox Browser for Android:

If installation did not work and Flash does not work when usingFirefox browser, make sure to check if your device is compatible with Adobe Flash Player for Android or try installing a different version. List of supported devices and versions can be found here:
